جنسی استحصال کی روک تھام کے لئے سندھ میں یونٹ قائم کرنے کا فیصلہ

کراچی: سندھ پولیس نے ہفتہ کے روز خواتین اور بچوں پر جنسی زیادتی کے بڑھتے ہوئے مقدمات کی روک تھام کے لئے انسداد ہراساں کرنے والی یونٹ (اے اے یو) بنانے کا اعلان کیا۔

یہ اعلان سندھ کے سکریٹری داخلہ ڈاکٹر عثمان چاچر کی زیرصدارت ایک اجلاس کے دوران کیا گیا۔ اے آئی جی حیدرآباد ڈاکٹر جمیل ، ڈی آئی جی آپریشنز مقصود میمن ، سینئر خواتین پولیس افسران اور دیگر نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

ملاقات کے دوران ، مسٹر میمن نے کورنگی روڈ پر پولیس سہولت مرکز میں اے ایچ یو لگانے کا اعلان کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس سے صوبے میں خواتین اور بچوں پر جنسی زیادتی اور تشدد کے واقعات کی جانچ پڑتال میں مدد ملے گی اور ایسے جرائم کا شکار افراد کی قانونی امداد تک رسائی میں بہتری آئے گی۔

اجلاس میں جنسی استحصال کے واقعات کو روکنے کے لئے ایک مہم شروع کرنے کا مزید فیصلہ کیا گیا۔ ڈاکٹر جمیل نے کہا کہ سوشل میڈیا پر مجوزہ مہم سے جنسی استحصال کے واقعات پر قابو پانے اور پولیس اور عوام کے مابین ہم آہنگی کو فروغ دینے میں مدد ملے گی۔
